Lettering can be delicate handwritten script, bold typography, personal handwriting or fully custom. Size, spacing and line weight matter, especially when the client wants very small text.
Getting the text right
Send the exact wording, including punctuation and language, and check it twice. We also double-check spelling with you before the stencil goes on.
Personal handwriting can be traced from a clear scan or photo on plain paper; the sharper the original, the better the result.
Size, spacing and ageing
Letters that are too small close up as the ink settles. We advise a minimum height per style so the text stays readable for years.
Placement matters: inner arms and forearms hold script well, while fingers and hands are the hardest placements for fine text.
