This may include your name, contact details, date of birth, booking details, health information you choose to provide, reference images, order and payment status, messages and consent preferences.
Why we use it
We use data to review tattoo requests, manage appointments, provide safe treatment, process purchases, prevent fraud, answer questions and—only with consent—send studio updates.
Sharing and retention
We share only what is necessary with service providers for hosting, payment, email and analytics. Payment details are handled by the payment provider. We retain information only as long as needed for the service, safety, administration or legal duties.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or export of your data, and withdraw consent where processing depends on it.

Legal bases
We rely on: performance of a contract (appointments, orders), legal obligation (administration, tax, hygiene records), legitimate interest (safety, fraud prevention, improving our service) and consent (newsletter, optional analytics, health details you volunteer).
Health information and photographs of your skin are special-category data. We only process them with your explicit consent or where necessary for safe treatment, and never for advertising without separate permission.
How long we keep data
Booking and treatment records are kept as long as needed for aftercare, safety and liability, and financial records for the statutory seven-year period. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Reference images are deleted on request once a project is finished.
Processors and transfers
We use service providers for hosting, database and email infrastructure, payment processing (Mollie) and, with consent, website statistics. They act on our instructions under a processing agreement. Where data leaves the EEA, it is covered by an adequacy decision or EU standard contractual clauses.
Security
Access to customer data is restricted to studio staff who need it. Connections are encrypted, accounts are password-protected and payment card details never reach our systems.
Complaints about your data
If we do not resolve your concern, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
