Japanese & Oriental Tattoos Amsterdam

About this style

Large compositions need room to move. Japanese and oriental-inspired projects use movement, body flow and anatomy to build a composition that belongs to the body rather than sitting on it like a flat image.

01

Composition before detail

We start from the shape of the body part and the direction of movement, then place the main subject, background and empty space around it.

Backgrounds carry the piece. Wind bars, water and clouds are what tie separate elements into one composition that still reads when you are standing up and moving.

02

Sessions, scale and budget

Sleeves and back pieces are planned as projects with a session rhythm agreed up front, so you always know what is coming next.

We confirm the price approach before starting, and the studio minimum is €100.

From idea to design

Made for your body, not copied from a screen.

We translate references into an original composition, balancing linework, detail and contrast with size and placement.
