Abstract tattoos step away from literal imagery: brushstroke lines, geometric fragments, layered shapes and compositions built around the flow of your body. At Motorink we design abstract work so it reads as a deliberate composition, not a random pattern.
Composition before image
Abstract work lives or dies by placement. We look at the lines of the body first and build the composition around them: where the eye should rest, where the movement should be and how much skin stays open.
That makes the consultation essential. A short conversation about direction, references and the area you want to cover tells us more than a finished picture ever could.
Technique and ageing
Brushstroke textures, dotwork gradients and solid black shapes all age differently. We choose line weight, contrast and density so the piece keeps its read over the years.
Fryderyk works daily with abstract and graphic concepts and can translate a loose idea into a coherent, wearable composition.
